Global Headquarters

Multinational Companies are allowed to relocate their regional administration, procurement and accounting functions to Mauritius under the Global Headquarters Administration License. The license allows them to benefit from a tax holiday of eight years on corporate income.

In addition to normal licensing requirements applicable for GBCs, the entity must satisfy the following:

  • A physical office should be maintained in Mauritius
  • A minimum of 10 professionals needs to be employed, with at least two at managerial level
  • Minimum annual expenditure should be at least MUR 5m (approx. USD 150,000)
